Its a hard task. Why don’t you get the script out and have another look. Most films of that era were confined to the soundstages, produced some great work with some great talent from the world of theatre.

And this is the challenge of script writing for me–knowing what to emphasize; what camera shots to suggest. The one screenplay I’ve written is languishing in a desk drawer.
Filming is so different now than it was back then. We like our lingering closeups. So many films back in the day looked like stage productions.
