Isaac Cordal – New Street Art Interventions NYC
I originally saw this work yesterday, I was reminded of another artist – Slinkachu, but that’s an unfair comparison. The work of Isaac Cordal is more profound. Like those who we pass by on the street, they go unnoticed or even worse ignored. We are all guilty of that. These models show more craftsmanship, maybe because the scale is larger we get to see more of them on the camera or even in the street. If we knock into them there’s a greater impact. Slinkachu‘s we are supposed to pass by them rediscover with a sense of wonder. Built also more on the photographic element of the work. It could also be the time of year that we should think of our fellow man, something we should do all year round not just when the season brings it out in us.
